Head-hunters and recruiting specialists confirm that a number of top advisory jobs are still available in London and other wealth centres, particularly in the Gulf and across Asia.

A benchmark survey early in 2008 on the views of leading private banks in London over hiring prospects showed a 42 percent shortfall in the numbers of relationship managers available across the industry.
