PAUL DENMAN

By Rasika Sittamparam

‘At Arbuthnot’s, we know our clients very well,’ says Paul Denman, the head of the family office team at the private bank, which has been going since 1883.

Denman’s long career includes 12 years at Coutts and eight at SG Hambros, and he can’t imagine having ever done anything different. ‘I love that feeling when you’ve done a good job,’ he says.

He specialises in dealing with clients connected to motor racing, which is also a personal passion. ‘It started with us looking after people who race historical grand prix cars,’ he explains, ‘and then we started to take in professional racing drivers, dealers and people in
the motorsports media.’
