Celebrate 333 years of making a difference at an exclusive dinner with Michelin star chef Nigel Haworth hosted at the Chef’s table in Gaggenau London on Friday June 3rd.
In the year Gaggenau celebrates its 333rd anniversary across the globe, the brand is honouring its rich history and natural evolution with a series of three exclusive events each focused on a theme dear to the luxury home appliance brand.
The first event held on the 3rd May, in the newly reopened Gaggenau London saw Michelin star chef Phil Fanning host an intimate group of guests. The event was focused on the theme of innovation combining Gaggenau and Phil Fanning’s avantgarde approach to culinary culture.
The second dinner will be hosted on the 3rd June by Chef Patron Nigel Haworth of the Northcote Hotel & Restaurant and the Northcote Cookery School. Nigel, who has been showcasing his own gastronomic brilliance at Northcote for nearly 30 years, will focus on Gaggenau’s ‘education’ value.
Himself a keen advocate of education and bringing new taste and flavours to his guests, Nigel actively challenges and delights palates promoting seasonal food, offering guests the possibility to learn new skills at the cookery school and offer a festival of culinary discovery ever year with Obsession.
This January 2016 saw Michelin-starred restaurant and country house hotel Northcote launch their annual gastronomic event ‘Obsession’. Celebrating its sixteenth anniversary over 16 nights in 2016, Friday 22nd January – Sunday 7th February the event brought culinary excellence from across the globe to the tables at Northcote.
This year, at what has become known in the industry as the ‘Glastonbury of gastronomy’, Chef Patron, Nigel Haworth and Obsession showcased an extraordinary diversity of menus from hugely talented chefs from as far afield as Japan, Taiwan, Peru, Mexico along with European and UK representation, in total eighteen Michelin stars shone at Northcote and Spear’s was lucky enough to be Gaggenau’s guests.
