Newsnight last night (Wednesday 1st July) had a debate which featured two nominees from the same category in the Spear’s Book Awards, including the winner, Gillian Tett.

Newsnight last night (Wednesday 1st July) had a debate which featured two nominees from the same category in the Spear’s Book Awards, including the winner, Gillian Tett.

Gillian Tett, introduced as the winner of the Spear’s Financial Book of the Year award for Fool’s Gold, and Vince Cable, MP, nominated for The Storm, joined Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz and former chairman of Lloyds TSB Sir Brian Pitman with Jeremy Paxman as host to discuss whether enough had been done to reform the banking system and whether lessons had been learnt.
