‘The most important thing is to win their trust – sometimes it’s a very long process,’ she says. But once that happens, business beckons – as do the more esoteric frills that distinguish her Russian clients beyond wealth management needs: ‘It’s the small details, like when they ask you to help bring their dog somewhere,’ she chuckles, ‘or to find a nanny or a photographer, or when they trust you for advice on their children’s education – that’s when you know you have their trust.’
