The founder of Dalton Strategic Partnership (DSP) Andrew Dalton died on Easter Sunday following a heart attack.
Dalton passed away with his family in Scotland. He had been a leading fund manager since the 1980s when he played a key role developing the successful Mercury Asset Management.
In 2002 he founded Dalton Strategic Partnership. The business is now being led by his long-term colleague Magnus Spence while his responsibilities as head of the group’s asset allocation team will be taken by Rupert Caldecott.
Spence said: ‘Andrew has been a highly respected and inspiring colleague who will be sorely missed by all those who have had the privilege of knowing him.’
