A millionaire property developer attacked his neighbour with a samurai sword in a row over building work at their exclusive block of flats, a court heard.
Simon Carson, 58, a charity ambassador, was so irate over noisy renovations at Simon Korn’s apartment that he confronted him on his doorstep.
Wearing only his pyjamas, Carson hurled abuse at Mr Korn, 58, before drawing the antique Japanese weapon from its scabbard and lunging towards him.

Fearing for his life, Mr Korn, a commercial estate agent, grabbed hold of the blade to defend himself leaving him with cuts to his hands.
But as the two men grappled on the floor, Mr Carson’s wife, Freddie Booker-Carson, an award-winning art curator, piled into the fray, slapping Mr Korn’s wife Madeleine, the court heard.
Police were called to the block of flats in London’s Mayfair and arrested Carson and his 57-year-old wife following the incident on October 26.
