Coutts has unveiled a new management structure for its UK business under the leadership of chief executive Michael Morley, and has hired Paul Smith from HSBC Private Bank.
The firm’s UK business will now be led by six regional managing directors, all reporting to Morley. In his new role, Smith will be responsible for all Coutts regional offices in southern England and Wales.
Morley said: ‘Earlier this year we set out our global ambition for Coutts but this clearly involves building our business in the core UK market.’
