1. Batman was a hereditary millionaire — perhaps this is why his comics are so appealing to HNW collectors. This 1939 batman comic pictured above sold for $1million in 2010, making it one of the most expensive comics ever.
2. Iron Man was an arms-dealing tycoon, but even this didn’t make him a comic book baddie. I enjoyed this Iron Man cartoon from 1966:
3. The Fantastic Four’s Richard Reed owned a tower in Manhattan, several planes and a space rocket, making him a kind of stretchy-limbed, superhuman, Donald Trump – Richard Branson hybrid.
4. Professor X can easily financially support the X-men, who make use of his huge mansion in upstate New York and private jet.
