UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2016 appoint Prestige Hospitality as official hospitality partner

Prestige Hospitality, the UK sports travel and hospitality specialists, was today announced as the exclusive provider of official hospitality for the UCI World Track Cycling Championships taking place in London from 2nd to 6th March 2016. The Championships will be held at the Lee Valley VeloPark, the location for the historic track cycling events during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The London based company is one of the leading sports hospitality companies in the world, having created and managed the largest hospitality programmes in UK sports history, including the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and this year’s Rugby World Cup in England.

Commenting on the partnership, British Cycling’s cycle sport and membership director, Jonny Clay said: “We are delighted to have appointed Prestige Hospitality as the official hospitality partner for the track world championships.

“They have a proven track record of delivering the highest quality hospitality at some of the world’s greatest sports events so we are confident that the hospitality offering at the world championships will be befitting of the status of this event, giving people a truly unforgettable experience.”

The World Championships is a five day event featuring the best track cyclists racing in up to three sessions each day from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th March. The competition will see the world’s best competing to win the coveted world champions’ rainbow jerseys as well as being the final opportunity for riders to secure points for qualification for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Hospitality packages for the world championships include the very best category seats and features new and innovative experiences, including a limited number of packages located in the track centre. These packages will provide unrivalled views of the racing events, with hospitality enjoyed alongside the team preparation areas for a unique insight into behind the scenes team action and up close views of the riders.
