By Spear's

Pimalai Resort & Spa invites guests to explore Koh Lanta

Offering guests seclusion and experiences unique to the island, Pimalai Resort & Spa boasts breath-taking views over the Andaman Coast, whether it be from the infinity pool or one of the hillside ocean view villas. Spread across 40 hectares of lush hillside and beachfront, the 121-room property has become a favourite for A-Listers and repeat visitors seeking unrefined luxury, away from the hustle and bustle of the better-known islands. Actively encouraging guests to go out and explore, the resort offers a variety of activities whether it be scenic excursions to neighbouring islands or scuba diving with whale sharks, through the dive centre, Scubafish, whom the resort has a partnership with – there are bucket-list worthy experiences to suit every type of traveller.

Boasting three delectable restaurants, from RAK Talay, which serves up signature Thai dishes and is located directly on the beach to the resort’s À la carte Seven Seas, which is the perfect spot for an intimate dinner, guests can watch the sunset on Kantiang Bay whilst sipping on signature cocktails and tucking into succulent seafood and sumptuous steaks. And after a day of excursions guests are invited to relax at the award-winning spa, winner of the World Luxury Spa award. Expect to find treatments that combine traditional and contemporary techniques intended to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul, including a Thai Lanna Herbal Wrap and an Andaman Sea Salt Scrub.
