By Rasika Sittamparam

New England Patriots Quarterback is the 15th-highest paid athlete in the world. If the Patriots win this year’s NFL Super Bowl – he could be making history and be named the NFL MVP. What’s Tom Brady’s net worth? Dorothy Musariri finds out

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr was born in 1977, in California; where he graduated from Junipero Serra High School in 1995 and his career in football began to flourish. He went on to play for his college, the University of Michigan for four years and was later recruited by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Drafts.

Brady went on to get signed by the Patriots and has been there since the beginning of his professional career. During his time at the club, he has distinguished five Super Bowl wins, four Super Bowl MVP’s and two League MVP’s and has won several awards including the AP Most Valuable Player in 2007 and 2010 –making him one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and also earning him the nickname ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Time).

The 40-year-old is married to Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen whom he has two children with. She also has a high net worth of £251 million bringing both of their assets to a total of £377 million.

The Bradys live in Brookline, Mass and in their £3.14 million manor and Brady also owns a £9 million New York City penthouse and sold his previous home to rapper Dr Dre for £27 million.

The American footballer has £5 million worth of endorsements in Tag Heuer, Simmons Bedding Company, UGG, Under Armour and Aston Martin and owns a sports medicine clinic called the TB12 Center.

He’s showing no signs of slowing down – at 40-years-old the quarterback signed a four-year contract that pays him £41 million until 2019, including a £190 million signing bonus and an average annual salary of £10.5 million.
