Former Olympian bobsledder, private pilot and Founder of My Yacht Group (MYG), Nicholas Frankl has an estimated net worth in the millions.

Born in London, to a British mother and Hungarian father, Frankl and his twin sister, Annabelle Frankl grew up in the U.K and spent family holidays in Hungary. He attended Hurstpierpoint College and later studied Business & Finance at Kingston University.

How did Frankl become a multi-millionaire?

Frankl is a three time Olympian (1994, 1998, 2002) as Driver and Captain of the Hungarian Bobsled Team, as well as a being a private pilot.

His first games were Lillehammer in 1994, and he came 28th out of 43 teams driving HUN1 in the 2-man. Frankl and his team qualified again for Nagano in 1998, placing 24th out of 32 teams in 4-man bob this time, and in Salt Lake City in 2002, they competed again in the 4-man, finishing 23 / 33 teams.

After his bobsledding career ended, Frankl worked on a variety of projects – including writing, hosting, and producing automotive programs for radio, TV and print.

He also ran the Ferrari Asprey sponsorship from 1996-99.

Frankl and his twin sister Annabelle Frankl, who he co-runs My Yacht Group with, grew up immersed in the high-end events world and even higher end socialising since birth. Their father Andrew Frankl was a leading figure in the motorsports industry; after escaping Budapest in 1956, he joined Ford Motors where he helped to build a high-performance Lotus Cortina for Henry Ford II’s wedding, before expanding into broadcasting, journalism, marketing and promotion.

Frankl has been described as ‘the spirit of F1 – a brilliant, elegant, strategic, high-energy, fun-loving guy with an uncanny knack for creating magical events that represent the best of F1 – fast cars, interesting people’ (MD, Ballet Austin).
My Yacht Group (MYG) is run by Frankl and his twin sister. MYG events range from single evening receptions to four days at Monaco F1, and with an average combined net-worth of 75 – 100 Billion USD at each MYG event.
