The WINE PALACE MONTE CARLO is one of the largest wine cellars in Europe, offering a palette of over 2,300 different wines and spirits under one roof. Like the captain of a super yacht, the head sommelier and his team will assist you in the gustatory destination of your choice.
Backed by his strong experience of many years in some of the most luxurious establishments of the French Riviera and palaces of Courchevel, the head sommelier will delight and entice your taste buds with a selection of hand-picked marvels, based on the following values:
- Traceability; purchased directly from the vineyard, all wines stem from known and recognised areas.
- Rarity; far beyond their exceptional location, the uniqueness of certain wines is where the originality of the WINE PALACE MONTE CARLO lies.
- The variety of sources; a veritable journey through the different continents of the planet just by crossing the threshold of this unique cellar.
Wines and spirits to enjoy at home or on site. To render these treasures even more voluptuous in flavour, the Chef Sommelier selected several delicacies. Thus, you can accompany your glass with selected cheeses from the best cheese manufacturer in Auvergne, smoked salmon and eel, or fine fragrant charcuterie.
Whether you are passing through or staying a while on board, the Wine Palace captain Captain’s leitmotif is always conviviality; creating at all times moments of exchange and sharing. Taking a little trip together.
The WINE PALACE MONTE CARLO’s cellar was designed by the Humbert & Poyet firm in the style of a timeless luxury showroom, whose decor is completely covered with noble wood, in a natural oak and black and ashy grey palette.
Surprising and theatrical is the manner in which the wine is placed, in a space that resembles a real concept store. Everything is enhanced in contrast with dark wood windows trimmed in bronze. Wines, food, and the Tableware Art is under the baton of Sabrina Monte-Carlo, Monaco’s famous brand, that has indeed brought its touch of class by providing glasses, carafes and bottles designed by leading luxury brands.
Upstairs, the upper deck welcomes connoisseurs in an atmosphere of a private club lounge where the benches, covered in burgundy, allow you to enjoy, à la carte, a selection of the finest wines and spirits.
The most guarded secret, a private room protected by a sculptural glass and bronze door, secretly houses the most exclusive wines from the cellar. As safe as in a vault, the bottles are arranged like precious jewels. The floor is worked in a black marble inlay and Versailles parquet, making this a sumptuous, intoxicating and privileged setting.
Finally, the terrace has been designed as the deck of a luxury ship anchored in the harbor of Monaco. Truly an architectural extension of the interior space, this allows you to enjoy all the amenities. In a friendly and refined atmosphere, vegetation borders the graphically colorful furnishings in the shade of umbrellas, and on the horizon, you glimpse the masts of surrounding yachts and in the distance – the Palace.
