Pop down to Kensington and Chelsea College today or tomorrow and you just might discover the next Philip Treacy.
Until tomorrow only, the college’s Chelsea Centre is exhibiting the designs of its bright young student faculty, many of whom have gone onto be regulars at London Fashion Week.
The college’s renowned millinery courses are internationally recognised and have produced design talents such as Justin Smith, Gina Foster and Sarah Cant.
Several millinery alumni took centre stage at Handmade in Britain last year and recent graduate Margaret O’Conner’s headwear has even been sported by the likes of Lady Gaga.
What better place to find the perfect headwear to wear to Ascot – all the while supporting British craftsmanship?
‘The Collections’ is free to attend and runs until June 13 at the Chelsea Centre Gallery, Hortensia Road, SW10 0QS.
