If you book the Penthouse Suite at 45 Park Lane from 1 November, you get a complimentary half-day experience in a Rolls-Royce Wraith, which is just as smooth a drive as its alliteration makes it sound.
Once you’re back from your turn around town (or indeed country), Bar 45 at 45 Park Lane (where Spear’s had our Ben Goldsmith issue launch party) will mix you a cocktail at one of three ‘speeds’: Rémy Martin Cognac VSOP, Coeur de Cognac or XO. Apparently, the ginger in the drink ‘evokes the thrill of adrenaline’ you get from driving the Wraith. We’ll let you decide.
Should you want the cocktail but not the car, the Wraith at Bar 45 starts at £16 for the Rémy Martin Cognac – VSOP, £25 with Coeur de Cognac, and £50 with XO.
Rates for the Penthouse Suite at 45 Park Lane start from £7,194 including breakfast and VAT. Two Wraith cocktails are offered complimentary to guests at the Penthouse Suite, which is nice.
