Simon Pegg is estimated to be worth £6.9 million.

He was born on February 14, 1970 to Gillian Rosemary and John Henry Beckingham. After completing English Literature and Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon College he joined the University of Bristol. Here Pegg was a part of David Icke and the Orphans of Jesus, a comedy troupe that included Myfanwy Moore and David Walliams. Graduating in 1991 with a BA in Theatre, Film and Television, Pegg went on to act in TV shows such as Six Pairs of Pants (1995), Faith in the Future (1995-1998), Asylum (1996), We Know Where You Live (1997), Is It Bailey? (1998), Big Train (1998-2002), Hippies (1999) and Band of Brothers (2001). Early movies included Live From the Lighthouse (1998), Tube Tales (1999) and Guest House Paradiso (1999). Pegg was also part of BBC Radio 4’s The 99p Challenge (1998-2004) and also performed different roles on The Man Who Thinks He’s It, Steve Coogan’s live stage show tour (1998).

Teaming up with the Asylum gang Edgar Wright and Jessica Stevenson again, Pegg created the sitcom Spaced (1999) for Channel 4, which included Nick Frost. The series was awarded the Bram Stoker Award as well as the British Independent Film Award for Best Screenplay. Pegg himself won the Peter Sellers Award for Comedy.

Pegg and Wright next created the movie Shaun of the Dead (2004), the first of the Cornetto Trilogy starring Pegg and Frost. He then voice-acted as Strontium Dog in the eponymous audio series and also featured in an episode of the Doctor Who TV series in 2005.

In the Mission: Impossible movie series, Pegg has had a recurring role in Part III (2006), Ghost Protocol (2011) and Rogue Nation (2015). He acted in the film Big Nothing in 2006 and partnered with Wright again to make the second of the Cornetto Trilogy Hot Fuzz (2007). He also starred in The Good Night and Run Fatboy Run in 2007.

Pegg starred in the 2008 British comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and 2009’s Star Trek, reprising his character in 2013’s Star Trek: Into Darkness. Before that he starred in 2010’s Burke and Hare, co-authored and starred in Paul (2011), starred in A Fantastic Fear of Everything (2012) and voice-acted in the animations Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs</em> (2009), Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (2011). In 2013, The World’s End, the final film of the Cornetto Trilogy, was released.
