1. Cronuts
New York Pastry Chef Dominque Ansel’s ode to excess. Recently created, Cronuts have been described as a half croissant, half doughnut –hybrid that is purely sinful and delicious.
2. Fried Chicken

3. Industry Night Parties
A growing trend where some of New York’s top chefs and restaurateurs turn their stoves and bars over to their chef friends and mixologists on a monthly basis and throw a party to help bring together the restaurant community and to foster camaraderie over amazing inexpensive cocktails and complimentary late night food.
4. Roof Gardens
More and more chefs are planting sustainable gardens on the roofs of their restaurants to better control the quality of their fruit and vegetables they serve to their guests.

5. Barbecue

After all, what’s not to like about succulent slow cooked smoky meats served with bourbon?
