Asked by my hostess to bring a bottle of vin rose, Anthony Haden-guest got one from the freezer in a wine shop on Court Street, Brooklyn.

By the way, I’m not an expert. But why does the label read: ZINFANDEL WHITE?

Because there’s already a Zinfandel Red.

I see. But it looks pink to me.
