The World of Fine Wine Announces the 2020 World’s Best Wine Lists

The World of Fine Wine has announced its 2020 World’s Best Wine Lists 

The top awards in the 2020 World’s Best Wine Lists, in association with Coravin, have been announced, with Pix Pâtisserie in Portland, Oregon and Park Hotel in Vossevangen, Norway, both receiving the honor of Wine List of the Year, the first time the title has been shared. They now join other previous Wine Lists of the Year in the World’s Best Wine Lists Champions’ League.

WBWL celebrated its seventh year with a prestigious judging panel. Chaired by Neil Beckett, World of Fine Wine Editor, it included WFW Contributing Editor, Andrew Jefford; World Champion Sommelier, Andreas Larsson; Master Sommelier, James Tidwell; consultants and sommeliers Anja Breit and Luciana Girotto; and wine educators and writers Camilla Bowler, Ch’ng Poh Tiong, Victoria Daskal, Anne Krebiehl MW, Elin McCoy, Francis Percival, Jeremy Wilkinson, and Alder Yarrow. They assessed more than 1,000 of the world’s best wine lists to determine the short lists for 18 specialist categories across six global regions, and also awarded Jury Prizes for other outstanding lists.
