The Monaco Yacht Show’s new prestige car exhibition zone, announced at the beginning of June by the show organisers, reveals its premier automobile brands: Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce in association with the broker Burgess, Tesla or the group Centigon, specialist in armouring luxury cars.
About ten models will be displayed at the MYS Car Deck, which will offer a 230m² indoor lounge bar for all of the show’s visitors and exhibitors. Cars will be available for purchase or a test drive in the heart of the town.
The Italian brand Lamborghini has already announced it will be exhibiting the Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder whose high performance and sharp and sporty design have made it one of the most desirable cabriolets on the market.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will exhibit the Rolls-Royce Dawn with aesthetics to seduce a younger clientele and which symbolises the historical glamour of this British house in operation for almost 113 years now.
Launched in the United States in 2003, the constructor Tesla Motors, commonly known as Tesla, is specialised in the manufacture of luxury and sporty electric cars. For the Monaco Yacht Show, this young brand will present the Model S P90D with staggering speed performance.
The company Centigon France, one of the leading specialists of armoured cars in the world, will offer the protected and extended versions of the Range Rover Autobiography (+30 cm) and the Mercedes Benz Class S550 (+65cm).
For many years, major automobile manufacturers have indirectly participated in the Monaco Yacht Show by chauffering its VIP visitors and the private clients of exhibiting companies.
The launch of the Car Deck at the exhibition this September reflects the desire of these brands to associate themselves with the MYS. It is also designed to meet the needs of yachting companies by attracting a new wealthy clientèle on the quays of Port Hercules completing this ultra high-end show visit.
