Noudar began its path to success after a one off, exclusive design for Lady Gaga marking the release of her ‘Born This Way’ album in May 2011. This venture allowed the young award-winning Qatari jewellery designer Noor Al Fardan to express herself creatively and to push the boundaries of fine jewellery making and producing works of wearable art.
Having drawn much inspiration from the timeless Arabic culture, Noudar explores Western and Middle Eastern fashion, transforming classical elegance into a modern perspective.
Noudar’s collections are currently stocked in several jewellery retailers throughout Qatar and is now opening the doors to the UK market with the luxury retailers Frost of London – 108 New Bond Street, Mayfair.

CRAFTMANSHIP
Noor’s fascination with watches and the mechanisms behind the art of watch making has greatly influenced Noudar’s jewellery, emphasizing the importance of the craftsmanship to enable more comfort, movement and flexibility in her creations, as Noor quotes Coco Chanel when saying “Luxury must be comfortable otherwise it is not luxury”.
Noudar’s jewellery was originally produced in Valenza, Italy offering a high level of craftsmanship. Currently the production will be shifted to Qatar in order to make Noudar a purely Qatari jewellery brand, and the first of its kind.
POETIC INSPIRATION
Inspired by Islamic culture, Noudar brings into the present the intricate meanings and symbols of this civilization that flourished from the 10th century onward. This was the time of Islamic Renaissance in the arts, architecture, science, and philosophy, which created the very foundation of the modern age.
This clever combination of traditional Islamic art & modern design has led to Noudar’s avant-garde jewellery collection. Through these inspirations Noudar has developed her collections translating Arabic culture for a more western audience, modernizing the Arab concepts of jewellery and tradition into her designs.
