Mayfair Marathon

By Spear's

If there are two things Hedgehog likes, they are charity events and seeing celebrities sweat.

If there are two things Hedgehog likes, they are charity events and seeing celebrities sweat. That’s why Hedgehog will be supporting the Mayfair Park and Tower Race this Wednesday, where Graeme le Saux, Sir Rocco Forte, Michel Roux junior and some of the Gladiators (televisual, not Roman, presumably) will be huffing and puffing their hearts out for a good cause.

Said cause is Galvin’s Chance, a co-production between the Hilton in the Community Foundation and Galvin at Windows, which gives disadvantaged young people apprenticeships in London hotels. The involvement of the restaurant itself comes because after the runners have gone round the Serpentine for 4.5K, they have to head up 28 flights of stairs to the top of the London Hilton.
