Welsh businesswoman and The Apprentice UK series 12 candidate Alana Spencer has an estimated net worth of thousands of pounds.
24 year old Spencer is the youngest candidate appearing on the BBC One show. She is a cake company owner lives in Ceredigion, Wales.
How did Spencer make her money?
Spencer set up her own business at the age of 17, making chocolates. A self taught chocolatier at age 16, she began to sell to her Teachers, friends and family. This rapidly increased and two local shops became interested. Spencer then left school to pursue her dream.
After her successful chocolate business, she went on to sell cakes and owns Narna’s Cakes. Spencer made brownies, alongside her chocolates and took them into the delicatessen she was working for alongside making the chocolates. They subsequently asked her to become their cake supplier.
Narna’s now has six well loved products that are sold in Delis across the country.
Spencer’s cake company now sees her travelling across the country selling her wares at various food festivals.
Her cake company Narna’s was set up in a small village just outside Aberystwyth back in 2010.
