About 25 banks which are key private client players in Britain are being targeted by the HMRC tax agency for the launch of its second tax amnesty, officially known as the offshore disclosure facility (ODF).

About 25 banks which are key private client players in Britain are being targeted by the HMRC tax agency for the launch of its second tax amnesty, officially known as the offshore disclosure facility (ODF).

This is expected by be unveiled later this month, offering an amnesty to investors in return for their volunteering of how much they hold offshore. The word is that any fixed penalty under a second ODF would be pitched at 20 percent of the sums involved.
