Edmondo di Robilant spoke at the Spear’s Masterpiece breakfast earlier this year, arguing that Michele Marieschi’s Venice, the Grand Canal with the church of San Stae (ca. 1742/43) was a true masterpiece.

Robilant + Voena’s current exhibitions are:

WHITE: Marble and Paint from Antiquity to Now is on view in LONDON until 14 December.

FROM MILAN TO GENOA AND BACK: Between Mannerism and Baroque is on view in MILAN until 6 December.
