Steve Atkinson

By Spear's

2019 was the third consecutive year of top-line growth for Standard Chartered, with the business generating income of $577 million (up 12 per cent year-on-year). It has also continued to drive performance by incorporating ESG considerations into investment decisions.

‘This is one of the key pillars on which our sustainability aspirations are built to truly be a force for good,’ says Steve Atkinson.

‘Understandably, many clients are concerned’ about the pandemic, but Atkinson feels the strength of client relationships and the trust between both parties has come into its own: ‘We’ve been able to minimise any disruption to our client service.’
