Jupiter Asset Management has appointed four private client fund managers from Bestinvest, and a new board member for the firm’s holding company Jupiter Investment Management Holdings.

Oliver Burns, William Day, David Blake and William Luttrell-Hunt will join Jupiter in November. The news follows the appointment earlier in October of Robert Walker, Paula Forecast, Phil Gent and Oliver Pearson-Lund from Singer & Friedlander. The latter four will join the firm between November 2008 and January 2009. The team is headed by Colin Chisholm, and manages some £800m on behalf of individuals, charities, trusts and SIPPs.
