As much as you want it to be.
What is your greatest luxury?
My Bentley. I absolutely love this brand and their cars – they’re the pinnacle of British car design and manufacture.
What can’t you live without?
My phone. I travel a lot with Michelle Mone Interiors and my speaking roles, so it keeps me connected with home, my partner and children.
What does wealth mean to you?
Health. I need my health to enable me to look after the people I love. Health is wealth.
Who or what is your greatest influence?
My parents. Such wonderful, kind, hard-working people. Without doubt the greatest positive influence on my life.
What is your biggest fear?
Failure. The fear of failure drives me to succeed and literally used to keep me up at night. It still drives me now.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Celebrity Masterchef, as I really cannot cook… I still can’t!
What’s your greatest success?
Ultimo – it was hugely successful and put me on the map as a businesswoman and entrepreneur.
…And greatest failure?
I really don’t believe in failures – all failures are learnings and I’ve learnt as much from the lows as I have from the highs.
What makes people successful in business?
Hard work, determination, originality, common sense. NEVER giving up!
What does it mean to be a peer today?
It means a lot to me, a great honour. It’s a challenging, consistent, exciting learning process for me.
You supported Remain –where are you on Brexit now?
I did, but the majority of the public chose to leave and I respect that. Now we just need to look forward, find solutions, understand it will be difficult but come through it.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Eton Mess! I love meringue.
Which restaurant is indispensable?
Scott’s in Mayfair, I’ve been going there for 20 years.
Who makes your clothes?
I love Suzanne Neville – her dresses and designs are out of this world.
What makes a great interior?
For me, it’s all about British-inspired elegance with a twist of contemporary design and functionality.
Philanthropy should be…
Personally for me it’s a must, but it also should be a choice.
Where do you summer?
Either in the South of France or at our Isle of Man home. We spend a lot of time at our brand new home in St Barth’s – it’s beautiful.
Favourite hotel… favourite suite?
The Dorchester – it’s my favourite hotel in London.
Are you a saver or spender?
Both – I believe it’s important to have a balance.
Where in the world are you happiest?
At home in the Isle of Man – it’s so relaxing, there’s nothing I love more than walking around our garden.
What are you reading at the moment?
The China Study – it’s all about health, diet and disease.
