New on-site hospitality venue at Twickenham Stadium launched for Rugby World Cup 2015

By Spear's

Rugby World Cup 2015 has today announced a new on-site hospitality experience that is designed to bring rugby fans closer to the action at the biggest sporting tournament of the year.

England 2015 is set to be a very special and record-breaking celebration of rugby and the purpose-built Champions Park is located in the heart of the ticketed perimeter at Twickenham Stadium, where 10 of the tournament’s biggest matches will be played, including the final.

Champions Park will feature four main restaurant areas, each named after a previous winner of the Rugby World Cup – New Zealand, South Africa, England and Australia. Between them they will seat 500 diners at each match.

A team of 40 chefs will prepare top quality cuisine in state-of-the-art kitchens while a crew of more than 250 specially trained waiters and waitresses will serve the three course meals and provide dedicated hospitality services to guests.

The package also includes an official match ticket and is one of the only ways to access tickets for the biggest games as the world’s top teams compete for the coveted Webb Ellis Cup.

Sandra Parkinson, Head of Client Experience and Innovation for the Official Hospitality programme said that more and more customers have been requesting official hospitality close to the match venues.

“The decision to create a new hospitality option was driven by customer demand,” she said. “So we are delighted to be able to announce this new on-site experience.

“We have now sold out at the Twickenham Pavilion for the England v Australia match, and we are close to full capacity at another five matches. This package is one of the only official ways to guarantee a ticket for England’s Pool A match against Australia. .”
