Logan Paul is one of a new generation of millionaires who are making their fame and fortune through Youtube. With over 16 million subscribers to his channel, he has ambitions of becoming “the biggest entertainer on the planet” but his fame has not come without controversy. But what is Logan Paul’s net worth?
Logan Paul started making his own videos at the age of ten and found a niche for himself on the video sharing platform, Vine. His seven second videos focused on slapstick antics. When the platform was shut down, Logan moved over to Youtube where he started sharing longer video blogs and quickly amassed a huge audience.
His Youtube channel became the fastest to hit 10 million subscribers in the history of the video sharing site, accumulating the record amount in 333 days. Overall his vlogs have totalled 3 billion views on Youtube alone. His top videos have over 1 million views – in comparison, Sky Atlantic’s big budget fantasy Britannia received only half of that for its first episode.
Logan Paul has modelled himself on the frat boy stereotype, combining Hollister looks and braggadocio to attract his millions of adoring teenage fans – who he calls his Lo-gang. In 2017 he made an estimated £9 million with a quarter of that coming from Youtube adverts.

On his end of year review Logan celebrates moving into his new mansion, which he purchased for £4.6 million. During his breakout year he also bought: a £213,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV, a £76,000 truck for his dad, a £700,000 camera for his vlogs, gifted his mum £70,000 dollars for Christmas and converted a school bus into a luxury limousine which he dubbed the “Cool Bus”.
He landed his first role in a movie last year, Valley Girl, which is set to be released in cinemas in 2018 and made his directorial debut when he helped produce three music videos for American boy band, Why Don’t We.
The young entrepreneur launched his online Maverick clothing store in 2017 and hoodies on it sell for £40. The Maverick pop-up shop shut down Soho in New York for three days straight, costing NYC police £180,000. He also shut down the Dubai Mall when he hosted the biggest meet and greet in the world which attracted 11,000 fans.
Logan Paul brought widespread condemnation in the media after he published images of suicide victim in Aokigahara forest, Japan, who had recently hanged himself. Although he later released an apology video Socialblade predicts that the 48.8 million views it received could have made him as much as £140,000.

According to Forbes he makes £100,000 per Facebook post and £57,000 for sponsored content on Instagram; however the controversy has meant that several brands have disassociated themselves with the star. It is yet to be seen whether this will have a significant dent on his income or whether the momentum of his rapid rise to fame will carry him through.
