Born on October 22, 1979, Major was a regular feature of the catwalk in Cameroon, and was Miss Lions Cameroon 1995.
Thereafter, she became an occasional radio presenter and had parts in various films. She later moved first to Paris, France and then to the United Kingdom.
Major is married to oil and gas tycoon Sam Malin. She also holds the Scottish feudal courtesy title of Lady Hailes.
