Frankie Boyle is worth an estimated £3.3 million.
Boyle burst onto the comedy scene with his performance at Edinburgh’s The Stand Comedy Club.
He etched his name right from the first episode of Mock the Week (2005-2009), a BBC panel show. Boyle was called “the dark heart of Mock the Week” by host Dara O’ Briain because of his dark, controversial humour.
Did Boyle ever change his style of comedy to be successful?
He went around the UK October 2007-December 2010 on a marathon sold out stand-up tour, Frankie Boyle Live. If I Could Reach Out Through Your TV and Strangle You I Would, his second live DVD was released in 2010.
Mock the Week Musings, his only podcast, released in 2009, was test material written for the London crowd. That same year, Boyle released My Shit Life So Far, his autobiography.
The Boyle Variety Performance 2012, featuring guest comedians Nick Helm, Rob Delaney, Tom Stade and Katherine Ryan was aired in 2012.
In 2012, he released Work! Consume! Die!, his second book. The following year, Boyle released his third book, Scotland’s Jesus: The Only Officially Non-racist Comedian.
