Born in Birmingham, Emma Willis took up modelling at 17, posing for brands such as Elle, Chanel, Marie Claire, GAP and Vogue. Her breakthrough came in 2002 when she was selected to host on MTV. Willis then began appearing as a guest presenter for This Morning and CD:UK, but what is Emma Willis’ net worth?
Did Emma leave modelling behind her for a TV career?
In 2007, Willis co-hosted the ITV2 spin-off I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW!
She was also stand-in presenter for the 10th week of Big Brother’s Big Mouth.
Willis also started hosting an online offshoot of Celebrity Big Brother called Celebrity Big Brother’s Big I (Channel 4), in 2010. She simultaneously hosted an edition of Big Mouth with Davina McCall.
She then turned to radio, partnering up with Stephen Mulhern to present Sunday Morning Breakfast through the Heart Network, in August 2012.
In September, Willis took over from Coleen Nolan as permanent host of This Morning’s The Hub (2012-2014, ITV). She also stood in for Ruth Langsford and Holly Willoughby on the main show. The same month, Willis also became the host of Girlfriends (2013-2014, ITV2).
November onwards, she stood in as presenter of Loose Women (2012-2014, ITV) on several occasions, covering for the likes of Carol Vorderman, and has guest anchored on The Paul O’Grady Show (2013) in the absence of O’Grady.
In 2013, Willis hosted Prize Island (ITV) alongside Alexander Armstrong and also replaced Brian Dowling as host of Big Brother from the 14th series onwards.
She has been partnering Marvin Humes as host of The Voice UK (BBC One) since January 2014, replacing Holly Willoughby.
Willis became a team captain for Reality Bites, the ITV2 comedy panel show, in February 2015. This year she will be co-presenting Prized Apart, a BBC One Saturday night game show with Reggie Yates.
