Citi chief executive Vikram Pandit has named the new heads of the group’s businesses under the re-organised structure, but revealed that a leader for the ‘non core’ arm Citi Holdings has yet to be found.
Citi was reorganised into two divisions: the core Citicorp business and the ‘non-core’ Citi Holdings, on 16 January.
Citi Holdings is still without a chief executive, or head to its brokerage and asset management businesses, according to Pandit. Mike Corbat, previously head of the bank’s Global Wealth Management unit, will act as chief executive until a permanent appointment can be made.
