Model and television presenter Holly Willoughby has an estimated net worth of £10 million.
Born on February 10, 1981, Holly Willoughby was educated in Sussex. After talent scouts spotted a 14-year-old Willoughby at a Live exhibition of The Clothes Show she was signed by modelling agency Storm. She began appearing in magazines for teenage girls, such as Just Seventeen, More! and Mizz. At 17, she began modelling lingerie for brands such as Pretty Polly.
How did Willoughby make it from modelling to TV?
After drifting through different lines of work such as receptionist, runner and assistant manager, a fortunate demo reel shot by a friend introduced Willoughby to the BBC. Later that year, she presented children’s programmes such as Xchange, X-perimental and CBBC at the Fame Academy.
In 2004 she cohosted Ministry of Mayhem on CITV, the Saturday morning show. Here she met her would-be spouse, producer Dan Baldwin. The title of the show was later changed to Holly & Stephen’s Saturday Showdown in 2006, due to the fame brought by hosts Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.
Earlier, she co-hosted the final of Stars in Their Eyes (children’s version, 2004), and presented a children’s entertainment programme called Feel the Fear (2005) and ITV’s CD:UK.
Consequently, Willoughby was awarded the BAFTA as a children’s TV presenter in 2006.
From 2006-11, she co hosted Dancing on Ice with Phillip Schofield.
Simultaneously, Willoughby also hosted several ITV shows, including offshoots like Celebrity Wrestling: Bring It On (2005), Greased Lightnin’ (2007) and The Xtra Factor (2008 and 2009).
In 2007, Willoughby replaced Davina McCall as host of the dating game show Streetmate, seeing it through the final series, and partnered with Fearne Cotton to present Holly & Fearne Go Dating.
As well as starring on Celebrity Juice with Fearne Cotton since 2008, Willoughby has also been co-hosting This Morning since 2009, alongside Phillip Schofield.
In 2012, she also co-hosted BBC’s The Voice UK with Reggie Yates.
Her company Peaches Productions Ltd. is assessed to be worth a reported £1.5 million.
