Born Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez in Benalmádena, Málaga (in the autonomous community of Andalusia), Spain to Paco Alarcón and Jenny Suárez, on April 21, 1992, Isco began playing for Atlético Benamiel as a kid. What is Isco’s net worth?
Developing through Valencia football club’s youth system, Isco played a whole season in Segunda División B with the reserves before debuting for Valencia’s first team in November 2010 in the Copa del Rey. The same month saw his La Liga debut.
In July 2011, Málaga CF bought Isco for €6 million for a term of 5 years. That year, for the first time in its history, Málaga went on to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. In a December fixture against Real Madrid, Isco scored the first goal in a 3 – 2 victory (Málaga’s first win in 29 years against the Spanish giants). He won the Golden Boy award that month and the La Liga Breakthrough Player in 2012.
Isco was grabbed by Real Madrid after shelling out €30 million, in June 2013, a five-year deal that came through soon after he signed a new contract with Málaga that January. Proving himself to be a competent scorer among the Galacticos, Isco won many awards with the club, such as Copa Del Rey (2013-14), La Liga (2016-17), UEFA Champions League (2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18), UEFA Super Cup (2014, 2016 and 2017), FIFA Club World Cup (2014, 2016 and 2017), and Supercopa de España (2017).
He has now signed another five-year deal (until end of June 2022) with Real that has a £634 million (€700 million) release clause. His revised salary is reported to be €6 million.
Isco’s awards (international and domestic) include a third place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2009, the winner’s medal, Team of the Tournament award and the Bronze Boot at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship (2013), the Trofeo Bravo (2013) and the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2016-17).
A member of the Spanish squad at the FIFA World Cup 2018 (June 15-July 15) held in Russia, his World Cup ended when Spain (which had topped its group) lost to host Russia in a penalty shootout in the Round of 16. However, Spain returned home with head held high, winning the FIFA Fair Play Award.
Isco, who is currently dating actress Sara Salamo, has a son—Francisco Alarcón Calderón—from his previous relationship with Victoria Calderon.
His car collection includes an Audi, a Mercedes Benz and a $225,000 luxury Range Rover.
