‘Diamonds are always going to make a piece special,’ he says. Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with such a piece seems fitting, even if the Queen herself is more known for her lovely brooches, he notes.

Boodles is an entirely family-owned and run business, and the importance of family to British luxury goods companies has been a strong theme through those contributing to the party.
