Boutique investment firm Stanhope Capital has acquired Jewson Associates, an investment consultancy firm specialising in the non-profit sector.
As a result of the acquisition, Stanhope Capital will create a new division focusing on the charitable sector, to be named Stanhope Jewson. The combined group will be overseeing approximately USD 7.5 billion in assets and will have around 55 employees working from offices located in London and Geneva.
Edward Jewson, who founded Jewson Associates 15 years ago, will become a Partner of Stanhope Capital and Head of Stanhope Jewson. The Jewson team will move to Stanhope Capital’s headquarters in Portman Square.
Stanhope Capital was founded in 2004 by investment bankers Daniel Pinto and Julien Sevaux. The firm featured in the Spear’s UHNW Wealth Management and Family Office Index, where it was recognised as a Spear’s Top Ten.
