Born on October 18, 1987 to electrical engineer David Efron and secretary Starla Baskett in San Luis Obispo, California, Zachary David Alexander Efron was raised in Arroyo Grande, California.
How did Efron make his millions?
Discovering his singing talent, Zac Efron’s parents encouraged him to perform, leading to his interest in acting. A 11-year-old Efron soon appeared in the long-running musical Gypsy followed by performances in The Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville theatre. He began attending singing classes and more performances followed with Peter Pan; or, The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, Little Shop of Horrors and The Music Man.
