Paul Hollywood net worth

By Suren Prasad

Celebrity English baker and judge on The Great British Bake Off, Paul John Hollywood’s net worth is estimated to be £9 million.

Born into a baking family in Wallasey, Wirral on March 1, 1966, Paul Hollywood took up baking as a teenager at his father’s bakery followed by stints at other Merseyside bakeries. Progressing to head baker in hotels such as Cliveden Hotel, Chester Grosvenor and Spa, and The Dorchester, he later travelled to Cyprus to work at a resort.

A hotel baker, how did Hollywood become famous and a millionaire?

Returning to the UK, Hollywood appeared as a guest on several TV shows, The Heaven and Earth Show and The Generation Game on BBC1, and The Alan Titchmarsh Show and This Morning on ITV.

In 2005, Hollywood’s 100 Great Breads was named the “Top Bread and Pastry Book” by The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

He has also been a guest speaker at food festivals, such as the Cumbrian Food Festival, the BBC Good Food Show and The Cake and Bake Show.

Ever since The Great British Bake Off debuted in 2010, Hollywood has partnered Mary Berry as judge. He also made a guest appearance in the children’s TV series Sadie J.

In 2013, presenting Paul Hollywood’s Bread (BBC2) and Paul Hollywood’s Pies and Puds (BBC1), he also appeared on CBS’ The American Baking Competition as a judge.
