British reality star and former club promoter Kyle Christie has a reported net worth of £550,000.
Kyle Christie was born in England, in the coastal town of South Shields (at the mouth of the river Tyne), on June 21, 1992. A former club promoter, Christie was first cast in the Eighth Season of the MTV reality show Geordie Shore (July 2014).
How did Christie make thousands?
Geordie Shore, the British version of the American reality show Jersey Shore, was begun in 2011 and is set in Newcastle upon Tyne. The word “Geordie” is the dialect as well as regional nickname associated with the citizens of Tyneside along with the city of Newcastle and its surroundings. However, people from other parts of North East England are sometimes included in the show.
Christie is reportedly landing on Geordie Shore again for the 14th Series, along with Chloe Ferry, Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers, Gaz Beadle, Nathan Henry and Sophie Kasaei. The greenhorns to be ushered into the Geordie Shore family are Abbie Holborn, Eve Shannon, Sarah Goodhart, Zahida Allen and Billy Phillips. Filmed in November 2016, the eight episodes of this series shall be broadcast in January 2017.
The “laidback” lad’s newfound fame was instrumental in increasing his fan base, garnering an audience of more than 1.4 million people on Instagram.
To enhance his image, Christie went under the surgeon’s scalpel to repair his broken nose (the result of a youthful impulse begot during a heated scuffle with his brother). The pricey rhinoplasty burnt a £6,495 hole in his pocket. Going another step further towards a full overhaul, Christie went on to get a hair transplant as well—reported to be at least £3,000, also paid for veneers.
Although Christie and fellow cast mate Hagan were a couple on the sets of Geordie Shore, they eventually split in November 2016 after a rollercoaster relationship. However, the two exes met on a European road trip—another MTV reality show called Car Crash Couples, in March 2016.
