Born Katherina Pierri into an Italian-American family in New Jersey on October 4, 1965, she began to be known as Kathy Wakile after marriage to Lebanese-American businessman Richard Wakile in 1993.

Debuting on TV with the third season of the reality show The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2011, Kathy Wakile began her walk in the limelight. The show focusses on the Wakile family, her ‘out of the closet’ younger sister Rosie Pierri, her feuds with her cousin’s wife Melissa Gorga and her cousin Teresa Giudice, and her wish to open a restaurant soon.
