Most controversial star yet on the reality series Geordie Shore, ex-boxer Billy Phillips’ net worth is under review.
Twenty-year-old Billy Phillips hails from a place called Consett, 14 miles southwest of Newcastle, in the northwest of County Durham, England. A boxer before appearing on the MTV reality show Geordie Shore, Phillips is fond of pumping iron and has the muscular physique to show for it.
How did Phillips gain his fame?
A mystery to the audience as very little is known about him, Phillips was mostly reported to be partying with his buddy Marty McKenna, who is also his castmate on Geordie Shore.
Begun in 2011 as the British version of the American reality show Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore is set in Newcastle upon Tyne. The word “Geordie” is the dialect as well as regional nickname associated with the citizens of Tyneside along with the city of Newcastle and its surroundings. However, people from other parts of North East England are also cast in the show.
Billy Phillips is one of the new blood to be welcomed, along with Abbie Holborn, Eve Shannon, Sarah Goodhart (his co-star from Ex on the Beach) and Zahida Allen, by the Geordie Shore family.
The previous cast members returning to Geordie Shore for the 14th Series are his pal Marty McKenna along with Chloe Ferry (also known as Chloe Etherington), Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers, Gaz Beadle, Sophie Kasaei and Nathan Henry. Filmed in November 2016, the eight episodes of this series are set to be broadcast in January 2017.
A stranger on Geordie Shore, newcomer Phillips is a regular ‘outlaw’ mostly known for his controversial character—especially his recent brush with the law in 2015.
