Rodrigo Alves net worth

By Suren Prasad

Brazilian-born British national and plastic surgery addict famously known as the “human Ken doll”, Rodrigo Alves’ net worth is rumoured to be over £30 million.

Rodrigo Alves was born on July 30, 1983, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His father is British and hailed from a family that landed in Brazil in the 1940s―as a result, Alves holds British citizenship. Beginning with farming, the family developed the business to include supermarkets, shopping centres and property.

Alves got his first taste of plastic surgery at 17, when he got a procedure called gynecomastia done (having his “man boobs” surgically removed).
At 19, he went to London for higher studies, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Public Relations from the London College of Communication and also had his first rhinoplasty (‘nose job’). A fortunate inheritance from his grandparents left him with a lot of money and assets in Spain.

Alves’ penchant for plastic surgery and his remarkable metamorphosis have made him famous across the world.
Till date, the plastic surgery addict has braved a total of 103 cosmetic procedures all over his body, 51 of which are plastic surgeries. These include, silicone chest implants, a butt lift, 10 rhinoplasties, surgically implanted eight-pack abs, hair implants, a smile corrector and an eye augmentation procedure. The ultimate result has saddled him with the sobriquet “human Ken doll” due to his resemblance to Barbie doll’s male counterpart. His expenditure on these indulgences totals to about £400,000. To share his message on self-beautification, Alves has appeared on nearly 60 TV shows and various conferences throughout the world. He has also graced the covers of magazines such as Forbes, InTouch Weekly, Us Weekly and GQ. Alves is represented by London-based modelling agency, Ugly Models.
He has also been honoured at The Aesthetic Academy awards show conducted in Los Angeles, California by Dr Andrew Ordon of the TV show The Doctors for being 2016’s most inspirational personality.
Frequent nose jobs, however, led to complications, with his nose developing a hole to the side and his nostrils becoming too small to breathe, besides developing an infection. Alves had to be rushed to the hospital in April 2016. His confession about his three nose reconstructions in one year on E! channel’s Botched left doctors aghast, who warned him that his nose might “drop off”.

The human Ken doll, who used to work as an air steward, claims his main income is from real estate. He inherited several apartments in Puerto Banús, in Nueva Andalucia, to the southwest of Marbella, Spain, which he lets out to tourists. To supplement that is a generous monthly remittance that his grandparents have graciously left for him.

Alves was working on his autobiography as well as his lifestyle mobile app as of November 2016. He is set to appear in his own reality show, alongside a TV documentary called Plastics of Hollywood. His body is insured for £1 million. (Everipedia)

The Guinness World Records awarded him the record for Most Cosmetic Procedures, in February 2017.
