Millennials are demanding an authentic, original and social media friendly environment on their trips. With an Instagenic selfie backdrop, Kata Rocks is designed for snap-happy travellers.

A study of social media habits conducted by research firm YouGov showed that 25% of Americans post a photo within just one hour of arriving at a holiday destination, with 64% retaking their photos in order to make sure they’ll get ‘likes’.

There are 34 one, two, three and four-bedroom sky villas stacked across the hillside with fully-fitted kitchens, living and dining areas. The furnishings are sleek and Italian-made, a lot of white on white; from white linens to white umbrellas shading and white sun beds beside a white tiled pool.

Kata Rocks’ spa features eight treatment rooms, housing everything from metro nap energy pods to light-emitting treatment beds and chromotherapy, which combine traditional Thai wellness philosophies.
