Kristina Rihanoff net worth – we calculate that the professional ballroom dancer of Strictly Come Dancing fame, “Siberian siren” Kristina Rihanoff has a guesstimated net worth of over £1.5 million. (Daily Mail)

Born Kristina Pshenichnykh to engineers in Vladivostok, Russia on September 22, 1977, Kristina Rihanoff began training in dance when she was five. Soon after, her parents divorced and she began living with her mother. When she turned 15, she became a part-time dance instructor to support the household.

After completing her public school education, Rihanoff studied at the St. Petersburg Branch of Modern Humanitarian Academy and also earned a degree in Tourism and Hospitality.

At 21, Rihanoff became an instructor to dancers in a Russian school in the US. Over the next few years, she developed her professional career in the US, besides choreographing shows in Japan, Hong Kong and China.

Dancing competitively, she stood second in the Open to the World, Mambo Championship (2003-2004), second in the US National American Rhythm Finals (2003-2005), won the South African International Latin Championship (2005-2006), and was a semi-finalist at the Open to the World, Blackpool Dance Festival (2007). Rihanoff had successful partnerships with Michael Wentink, Brian Fortuna and Robin Windsor.

As a professional dancer, Rihanoff competed on the reality show Strictly Come Dancing (sixth series in 2008 to 13th series in 2015), winning the eighth with actor John Barrowman (2010 Christmas Special). She was runners-up with Simon Webbe of British band Blue in the 12th. She met her life partner in former England rugby star Ben Cohen in the 11th.

Rihanoff also participated in the Stricty Come Dancing Live Tour (2009-2015)—winning the overall tour in 2015 with Webbe—along with the first ‘Dance To The Music Tour’ in 2012. Rihanoff earned about £35,000 per annum from Strictly, £40,000 from the Strictly tour and around £150,000 from media deals (including sales from her calendars—2013-2016). (Daily Mail)

Rihanoff’s choreography works include the TV shows Burn the Floor and Dancing on Wheels, apart from modelling campaigns for TV commercials such as St Tropez suntan lotion, Panache bras, MeMeMe Cosmetics and the UK BT Commercial. She has her own collection of dresses with Pia michi couture. (Telegraph)

She is the author of The Art of Dancesport Makeup, had a popular weekly column in Best magazine and has also penned her autobiography Dancing Out of Darkness: My Story (2015).

Her other reality show appearances include Weakest Link’s Strictly Come Dancing special (2008),  Celebrity Mastermind and Celebrity Big Brother (2016; earned £150,000). (Daily Mail)
