Jonny Mitchell net worth

By Suren Prasad

Jonny Mitchell net worth – we calcuate the net worth of another of Love Island’s playboys, epicurean Essex lad Jonny Mitchell.

Hailing from Essex, jet-setting playboy Jonny Mitchell, who “pretty much lives abroad” and claims to be happier when away from home, was born on February 21, 1991.

Billing himself as a “business director”, Mitchell joined the third series of the ITV2 reality show Love Island (June-July 2017), pairing with bomb disposal expert Camilla Thurlow and then Surrey model Tyla Carr. He left ‘the Island’ on day 38, while Carr left on 44. (Daily Mail & Sun)

Mitchell was engaged with 28-year-old fashion designer from Essex, Lauren Baxter, with whom he was going steady for five years and had proposed to in the volcano-riddled, romantic Indonesian island of Bali. But, prior to entering Love Island, they split.

Better known for his globetrotting lifestyle playboy image, Mitchell’s Instagram account reveals his penchant for first-class air travel and luxury cars bolstered by an apparent glut of money. However, close sources brush this off as a façade, declaring that the Mercedes Benz that he so proudly flaunts is his father’s, his designer watches are knock-offs, the pictures posted of his exotic holidays are ‘throwbacks’ and his posh bachelors pad is reported to be rented from Airbnb. Two businesses of his are reportedly running in losses. One of them, JM Care (Essex) Ltd., is on the verge of closing down after losing over £8,000 in the last couple of years, and the other, Shopaeon Limited, lost £9,554 in just the previous year. (Daily Mail & Sun)

But all that seems to be in the past, as he has resumed his extravagant and exotic trips abroad. Apparently, Mitchell is a 24% stakeholder in his dad’s care homes business. In 2016, the firm reported nearly £220,000 in profits, which puts his share at over £50,000. (Daily Mail & Sun)

He is also touted to touch the million mark by next November because of his success in Forex trading, which he was doing even before showing up on Love Island. Mitchell has reportedly earned around £100,000 a month and, if he continues to trade in a similar fashion, he could become a millionaire within the next 12 months. (Sun & Daily Mail)

After his exit from Love Island, Mitchell hooked up with Made in Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt. However, the relationship is now over.

Mitchell was expected by many to be cast in the ongoing reality TV series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! (begun November 19, 2017) in Australia, but the few selected are author and politician Stanley Johnson, former footballer Dennis Wise, TV stars Jennie McAlpine, Jamie Lomas and Georgia Toffolo, boxer Amir Khan, Singer Vanessa White (of the girl band The Saturdays), English comedian, radio and TV star Iain Lee, Iranian-born comedian Shappi Khorsandi, former Scottish labour leader Kezia Dugdale, football WAG Rebekah Vardy and YouTube sensation Jack Maynard. The last four have already been evicted from the show.
