James Corden Net Worth

James Corden is worth an estimated £6 million.

Born on August 22, 1978 in Hillingdon, London, Corden first appeared on stage in the musical Martin Guerre (1996) followed by the series Boyz Unlimited (1999), Hollyoaks (2000) and Teachers (2001). In 2002, he appeared in All or Nothing, Heartlands, and Cruise of the Gods, with Pierrrepoint in 2005 and Heroes and Villains, The History Boys and Starter for 10 in 2006.

What made Corden a millionaire?

Corden came into the limelight with the TV series Fat Friends (2000-2005), where he acted in 20 episodes earning praises for his work.

Co-scripting and co-starring in BBC Three’s sitcom, Gavin & Stacey (2007-2010), Corden won the British Comedy Awards’ Best Male Comedy Newcomer in 2007. The BAFTAs beckoned in 2008, with Corden winning Best Male Comedy Performance and the series winning Audience Award for Programme of the Year. The show also won 2008’s British Comedy Awards.

In between, he appeared in the movies such as How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) and starred in Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009). He also co-hosted the 2009 Brit Awards alongside Gavin & Stacey co-star Matthew Horne.

In 2010, Corden voice-acted in Animals United and presented Sky1’s A League of their Own, a sports/comedy panel show and hosted Sport Relief 2010 with Davina McCall. He also acted in Doctor Who and was part of the main cast of the movie Gulliver’s Travels.

After a role in The Three Musketeers (2011), Corden starred in the acclaimed One Man, Two Guvnors, a comedy West End and Broadway play.

He was awarded the Tony for Best Actor in 2012 for his Broadway run while the play was adjudged 2011’s Best Play at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. That year Corden also penned his book May I Have Your Attention Please?: The Autobiography and narrated 22 episodes of Little Charlie Bear.

In 2012, he presented the BRIT Awards and also starred in the 2014 musical film Into the Woods.

Corden then co-created and starred in the comedy-thriller, The Wrong Mans, for BBC Two in 2013.

He has now replaced Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show, a late-night talk show, in March 2015, which is now called The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Recipient of the OBE at the 2015 New Year Honours, Corden lives with wife Julia Carey and two children in a luxurious villa in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
