‘It’s really important, as a good family lawyer, to have exposure to a wide range of work,’ says Charlotte Bradley. ‘All clients, at the beginning, really want a good strategy that doesn’t just focus on one aspect.’
Bradley is known for her diverse practice which spans complex finances, jurisdiction battles, financial provision for unmarried couples and surrogacy. She names parental alienation as one of the areas which have had significant media interest lately.
‘Judges are really grappling with the issue,’ she says. ‘They’re really balancing the [long-term] effects on the child of not having a full relationship and contact with both parents – the courts are taking that very seriously.’
